I can’t live without a dry shampoo. If you’ve never tried them before…believe me, you need them in your life. It’ll save you time and your hair. Yes hair, because we’re not supposed to wash it every single day. Recently I’ve been testing different dry shampoos and now I’m sharing with you my opinion about them. Normally I tend to select the darker version (if it’s available) to avoid white powder residue on my roots. So, here are the brands I’ve tried:
This product was never on my wish list. I went to Superdrug looking for the Batiste dry shampoo and it was out of stock. The girl there suggested me to buy the Superdrug dry shampoo, first because it was on sale (get 2 for the price of 1) and second because she said it was similar with the Batiste one. Amazing I thought. It turned out to be a complete fail. I hated this product so much. Even worse I had to use the two bottles. This dry shampoo left my hair sticky as if I had applied hairspray. The hair would look like it was dirtier than it actually was. I do not recommend.
This one was recommended by a friend and I think it’s an acceptable product. It does the job at the same level as the Batiste one. I bought the dark version that smells like chocolate, which I’m not very keen on. Apart from that, it’s a good product and the hair looks good after its application.
This one is a classic. Who hasn’t tried it before? It’s a good product and it’s cheap, which makes it even more perfect. I normally use the dark version, but it ran out and I’d thrown it away before taking the picture (sorry). By the way, I’ve never found a dark version in travel size. If you know where I can find it, please let me know in the comments.
Among all dry shampoos I’ve tried so far, this one is definitely my favourite. You know that powder residue that they leave on the roots? This product does not have that effect. This means I can use all range (Yey!!!). There are loads of scents, which I’m planning to try all, and apparently, there is one version that gives extra volume (I’m intrigued to try this one as well). Highly recommend this product.
What about you? Have you tried any of these dry shampoos? Is there any that you love and I haven’t mentioned? I suspect I won’t replace the Colab, but we never know.
Have an amazing day
