    My Beanie Collection

Hey there! For today’s post, I thought about talking about winter accessories – beanies. How random, right? I just think that the best part of the season is the fact that I can use beanies every day. I confess I do like beanies a lot, just because I struggle with finding a hat that fits my huge head (I promise I still look proportional), so beanies are that type of “hat” that always fit me and doesn’t dissapoint me. I’ll show all the beanies I have at the moment. Some of them I bought, the others I made myself (they’re super easy to make). What about you? What’s your favourite…

    February Resolution: Be Active

Hey there! New year, new resolutions, right? That’s probably the first thing everyone does in January. I’m sure people had even started some of them like a gym membership, new book, house declutter… So far so good but after a month or so of doing it what happens? We start to get lazy, life gets in the way and we think we have plenty of time to accomplish all of our goals. I’m I right? Then the year is almost gone and we remember about the list we made in January and is too late now. “Next year it’ll be different!” But it’s not! I’ve been there over and over…

    October Favourites

Hey there! October is gone! How is that possible? That means it’s time for another favourites post. As usual, my selection includes make-up, skin products, fashion and food products. Hope you like it.     I’ll start with the L’oreal Infallible total cover concealer palette. To be honest I’ve only been using the first three shades. I like to apply the darker shade under my eyes before the foundation, then I apply the lighter shade on top to bright a little bit that area. Then I use the middle shade for my blemishes (it hides everything!). This palette is amazing and the formulation is so good (one of the best…

    DIY – Personalized Notebook

Hey there, Since it’s been a long time since my last DIY post, I’ve decided to post a new one. One of the things I used to do during my university years was to buy plain notebooks and then decorate them with magazine clippings. I remember they looked so amazing and everyone would complement them (I could have made a business!). If you’re like me and accumulate magazines, this is a good way to reuse them before throwing them away. So basically with this DIY, you can make unique and cheap notebooks and I’m sure everyone will want one too. It’s also a good idea for a personalized gift for someone special…

Made in the UK: Bristol & Bath

Hey there! Some time ago I went to visit Bristol and Bath with some friends from London. In our plans, we also had in mind to stop in Stonehenge since any of us hasn’t been there. It was a 2 days trip and the idea was to spend the night in Bristol. Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t in our favour which limited the time we stayed in each place. Here are some photos that I took during the trip and I hope they will do justice because the places we’ve been were stunning.     As I mentioned, we weren’t very lucky due to the weather. The first day of the trip…

    Wish List: AliExpress

Hey there! AliExpress is one of my favourite online stores. In case you don’t know what I’m talking about (which world are you living?), it’s basically an eBay but with thousands of amazing products (I tend to find better products in AliExpress) and without the auctions. I’ve been ordering from this store for years and I don’t have any complaint so far. The platform works marvellously, the sellers are always nice and in the case of an order not delivered (It happened to me twice) AliExpress will give you the money back. I almost forgot to mention the best thing regarding this store – the prices… Hundreds of bargains. They also have…

    Autumn Primark Haul

Hey there, Primark is one of my favourite stores because it has a big variety of trending products at affordable prices. Recently I’ve been there a couple of times to get some stuff for Autumn. So I thought it could be a good idea to post a haul to show you what I got regarding homeware, make-up, clothes and accessories.     The weather is getting cold, which means that it’s a must for the house to be extra cosy.  Having that in mind I got some bits and bobs to place around. I decided to get the glass jar with the flowers and the pink candle (£4.50) for the bathroom,…

    September Favourites

Hey there, I can’t believe September is gone. Time is running so fast that in a blink of an eye is going to be Christmas already (I wouldn’t mind though). Lately I’ve been very busy with work, however, I still manage to test some new products. So in today’s post, I’ll show you my favourites. L’oreal tinted lip oil – This is the perfect product for the colder days ahead. If you’re like me and your lips get extra dry, you need to try this lip oil. The colour that I have is called the sugar plum. It gives a subtle pink colour to the lips, which makes it perfect…

Made in Portugal: Viana do Castelo

Hey there! A couple of weeks ago I visited an amazing city in the north of Portugal – Viana do Castelo. It wasn’t my first time there but it was my first time properly exploring it. The day was really nice (actually too hot) which helped to capture the city charm. Viana is a historical city with a long coastline and the mouth of the Lima river. The city has an old traditional connection to the sea and it was involved in the Portuguese Discoveries. This resulted in a rich heritage like palaces, churches, monasteries and monumental fountains that are present all over the city with stunning architecture. Hope you…

    August Favourites

Hey there, For the first September post, I’ve decided to nominate my favourite products of last month. Since I was on holidays, some of the product I’ll mention are summer related, but I also included some fashion items, snacks, a board game and make-up. Hope you like my list.     Riemann P20 – This product was recommended by a friend and it’s amazing for holidays. If you’re like me and hate to apply sunscreen on the beach because you don’t like to be all sticky, this product is perfect for you. It’s SPF 20, but you can find higher protection as well, and you just need one application. Yes, only ONE.…
