Healthy Breakfast Ideas

Hey there,

Since breakfast is the most important meal of the day, I thought it would be a good idea to share with you some ideas for those days when you don’t know what to do. All the ideas I’ll show you are extra healthy, so don’t worry about the calories. If you are a snack person like me, all these recipes can be easily converted into snacks for the go.

For this breakfast idea, you’ll need only two ingredients: rice cakes and peanut butter. Just layer some rice cakes on a plate and spread them with, as much as you fancy of peanut butter. For an extra peanut taste, try to add some raw peanuts on top. This breakfast will maintain you full until lunchtime for sure.

This breakfast is one of my favorite ones. You’ll need granola (I have a super easy homemade granola recipe if you would like to see), fresh red berries (or any other type of fruit), coconut flakes and coconut yogurt. Mix all the ingredients together and voilá!

This recipe is not news for anyone, but I thought it would be good to include in this post since it’s about healthy breakfasts ideas. You’ll need some toast (I usually warm it in the toaster), avocado and some seeds (optional). This is such a simple but so yummy breakfast. Love it!

A smoothie in the morning is always a good idea. You’ll make sure you will eat your fruit/vegetable portion for the day and at the same time helps to hydrate. I tend to change the recipe of my smoothies depending on what I have in my freezer and fruit bowl on that day. I made this one with 200 mL of milk (or water), half a cup of red berries, half a cup of pineapples and half a cup of spinach. You can decorate it with fruit and shredded coconut.

Who doesn’t like a good stack of pancakes in the morning? Unfortunately, they’re hard work, so I usually make them on weekends. This is a vegan version and let me know if you would like me to do a post with this recipe.

I hope I’ve inspired you with these recipes. What is your favorite breakfast?

Have an amazing day
