October Favourites

Hey there!

October is gone! How is that possible? That means it’s time for another favourites post. As usual, my selection includes make-up, skin products, fashion and food products. Hope you like it.

I’ll start with the L’oreal Infallible total cover concealer palette. To be honest I’ve only been using the first three shades. I like to apply the darker shade under my eyes before the foundation, then I apply the lighter shade on top to bright a little bit that area. Then I use the middle shade for my blemishes (it hides everything!). This palette is amazing and the formulation is so good (one of the best I’ve tried so far), I just wish it would come without that purple and green shade. Another make-up product that I’m using like there was no tomorrow is actually an old product in my collection – Rimmel Kate Lasting Finish Lipstick in 08. The formulation is super comfortable on the lips and it lasts an acceptable time. But the thing I like the most is its scent. I don’t know what Rimmel lipsticks are made off but all of them smell lovely. Regarding the shade, it’s the perfect nude for Autumn and acceptable to wear for work/school.

Now that the cold is getting serious here in the UK, I can’t get off the house without a lip balm. My favourite brand is Nivea and I’ve recently found this Nivea Hydro Care that is so much better than the original. The formulation is so hydrated and comfortable, and even after coming off, the lips still feel hydrated. I highly recommend. Still, in the cold subject, I’ve found the Weleda Skin Food. I don’t have enough words to describe how amazing this is. It’s literally skin food for when the skin is extremely dry. Besides, it’s that type of product that is so good that shows improvement after only one application. Now that I found this, I don’t think I will ever live without it.

Another product that I’ve been loving is the Body Mist from Victoria’s Secret. I bought this some time ago and then I stopped using it for a while (I don’t know why). I think I’d forgotten how good this was. The scent that leaves the skin is absolutely amazing and it stays on for hours after application. It’s irresistible. They have hundreds of scents that basically gets hard to chose from. I’m planning to get a couple more of them and even give them as a Christmas gift to everyone in my family.

I’m a nude type of person and that is no exception for nails. I’m addicted to this colour from Essie – Lace me up. This nail polish is from the gel couture range which means that lasts a considerable time on the nails. This colour is a beautiful light baby pink colour that looks so nice.

Fashionwise, if you follow me on Instagram you’ve already seen these earrings. I got both of them super cheap from AliExpress (check it out my Aliexpress wishlist post). I guess I’m into loops at the moment so I got these small gold loops that are more simple and minimalist. On the opposite spectrum, I got a more fancy pair of loops that have pearls and a loop made of shiny stones that are more appropriate for a night out.

This month I don’t have a food product to show, but I have tea that I got from Tesco. It’s the green and mint tea that it’s basically me in a tea bag. I love green and peppermint tea so together they make the perfect tea.

What about you? What were your favourite products this month?

Have a good day
